    Education & Outreach

    Activities and programs led by the CVMN to educate the public and/or fellow Virginia Master Naturalists. These activities include: presentations and booths at public events; educational presentations to garden clubs and school groups; and additional training opportunities for current Master Naturalists.

  • Citizen Science

    These activities involve data collection, monitoring, biological inventories, and other research-oriented projects. Examples include: bird censuses, Wildlife Mapping, and butterfly counts.

  • Stewardship

    This area includes hands-on volunteer activities intended to improve habitat and other natural resources, or to improve public access to these resources.
