The Basic Training Course (BTC) is a great introduction to all things environmental… It is a 10 week course which meets one evening per week. Subjects include Geology, Plants, Birds, Soils, Reptiles, Ecology, Streams, Naturalist Skills, Mammals, Forests, Insects, Wetlands, Fish, Conservation and more.

This basic training provides 40 hours of experiential learning that will include 12 classroom sessions and 4 half-day field trips to various locations around the Greater Lynchburg region.

The 2020 Basic Training Course will be held at the University of Lynchburg, Wednesday evenings from 6:00-9:00 PM, February 12 – May 13, 2020. Cost is $125.00 per person.
